Prior to starting her practice in San Diego, she has held senior tax positions with major corporations. She had actively participated in decision making pertaining to taxes and had directly represented these companies in audits conducted by various government agencies.

While pursuing her career, she had attended UCLA, Golden Gate University and Indiana University. She is very active in various professional and civic organizations and is a member of the California Society of C.P.A.
